Since those early days as a one-man specialist, repairing and maintaining high-performance and prestige cars, Des and now other Golden family members have strived tirelessly to create the garage you find in Cork today, which is respected and relied upon by so many customers from all over Ireland and Northern Ireland.

If you own a car from any of the above manufacturers, including electric and hybrid models, our team at Des Golden Specialist Cars can carry out any routine maintenance or servicing you require. Any remaining manufacturer warranty will be unaffected, and we can update your online service records too.

We are Ireland’s only authorised Akrapovic agent, and Ireland’s official Ecotune dealer, enabling us to offer the very best in engine tuning, remapping, and other performance upgrades. In addition, we are the only independent workshop in Ireland accredited by Porsche, and we have manufacturer diagnostic equipment for all the above marques.

Our 2,500 sq ft workshop is equipped with every specialist tool and piece of equipment our team of highly skilled technicians could need, and their training is kept up-to-date so our customers know they are always getting the very highest standards of workmanship on every job, large or small. All our work is guaranteed for a minimum of 12 months or 10,000 miles (whichever occurs sooner), and we have a small fleet of courtesy cars (subject to availability) for your convenience.
